“Mentorship is a space for learning โ€” built alongside your book, not delivered after it’s finished.”

Understanding the Service

What Is Editorial Coaching?

Editorial coaching is ongoing, collaborative support through verbal or written consultation, offered throughout the writing process rather than as a single edit delivered on a finished draft. Where developmental editing responds to a complete manuscript, coaching works alongside you as the book takes shape โ€” reviewing chapters as they’re written, talking through structural decisions, and keeping the project moving.

Sessions can cover outlining and structure, chapter-by-chapter feedback, research and argument development, or simply an honest sounding board when a project stalls. Mentorship is a process through which the mentor provides a space for learning, drawn from Dr. Sarah’s own editorial and scholarly experience โ€” the goal throughout is to help you become a stronger, more confident author of your own book. Custom quote for ongoing whole projects. Zoom consultations are charged at 70 euros per hour.ย
