I’m Sarah Meehan O’Callaghan — a PhD-qualified editor, writer and researcher based in Dublin, Ireland. I founded Vision Editing with a clear commitment: to make knowledge accessible to all and to promote the pursuit of excellence in research and writing.

My editing work spans many disciplines — from economics and philosophy to comparative literature and psychoanalysis. I prefer an expansive, interdisciplinary perspective, and this shapes the way I approach every manuscript I work on. I engage deeply with the ideas in a text, not just the surface language.

To date, I have worked on and completed many projects, including academic edited volumes, post-doctoral manuscripts, historical and specialist non-fiction, medical narrative, self-help, and psychology-oriented books. I treat each project with singular focus and enthusiasm to ensure the best results for every client.

I am also a writer myself, which means I understand the process of writing and the challenges involved. I am the author of Psychoanalysing Mind-Body Narratives through Beckett and Artaud: The Trauma of the Body, and I have published peer-reviewed articles and book chapters across psychoanalysis, philosophy, sexuality theory, body studies, and literature.

I am an associate member of APPI – Association for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy Ireland, a member of the Neuropsychoanalysis Association, and a co-organiser of the Irish Psychoanalytic Film Forum. I am also editor of an academic journal in the field of psychoanalysis — a role that has given me extensive experience in academic publishing and peer review standards.
